The project showcases 23 years of ocean chlorophyll-a data from NASA's MODIS Aqua satellite and 6 years of whale shark migration patterns, demonstrating seasonal patterns, climate trends, and ocean productivity cycles.

Chlorophyll Data Source: NASA PACE Ocean Color Data Portal - MODIS Aqua Level-3 Chlorophyll-a (4km resolution)
Chlorophyll Time Range: 2002-2025 (Annual, seasonal, and monthly averages)
Whale Shark Data Source: Movebank - Whale sharks in the Gulf of Mexico
Shark Tracking Time Range: 2009-2015
